1. Overview
Tr4kr is a personal finance record-keeping app. It is designed to let users enter and review financial information on their own device without creating an account.
Tr4kr does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for targeted advertising.
2. Information handled by the app
Information you enter
The app may store information that you choose to enter, including transaction descriptions, merchants, dates, amounts, transaction types, custom categories, notes, bank balances, debt, investments, assets, and calculated net-worth values.
CSV imports
If you import a CSV file, the app reads the selected file to create local transaction records and categories. The file and imported financial information are not intentionally uploaded to Tr4kr servers.
Storage
App data is intended to be stored locally in the app's database on your device. Tr4kr does not currently provide user accounts or Tr4kr-operated cloud synchronization.
Device services
Your device platform may process backups, diagnostics, file selections, or app-store activity under the platform provider's own policies and settings. Those services are controlled by the platform provider, not by Tr4kr.
3. Information handled by this website
This website does not include an account system, contact form, advertising pixels, or Tr4kr-operated analytics at launch.
The hosting and network provider, Cloudflare, may process standard request information such as IP addresses, browser or device information, requested URLs, timestamps, and security signals to deliver, protect, and operate the website. Cloudflare handles this information under its own terms and privacy practices.
If you email support, the information in your message and your email address will be used to respond to your request and maintain appropriate support records.
5. Retention and deletion
Local app data remains on your device until you edit it, delete it, remove the app, erase the device, or a device backup restores or retains it. Uninstalling the app may delete its local database, subject to your device's backup and restore behaviour.
Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain records, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
6. Security
Reasonable measures are used to reduce security risks, but no device, software, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for securing your device, backups, passcode, and any exported or imported files.
7. Children's privacy
Tr4kr is a general-purpose personal finance utility and is not directed specifically to children under 13. Tr4kr does not knowingly operate an account system or intentionally collect children's personal information through the app.
8. International processing
Website infrastructure and email providers may process technical or support information in countries other than your own, where privacy laws may differ.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app, website, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be revised when material updates are published.
